It seems that Chicago women have gone crazy for cardigans!  Sure, we remember seeing cardigan sweaters in past decades like the 50's - think of Grace Kelly in films like Rear Window and High Society, but it seems that, as of late, cardigans have had a resurgence of sorts.  I've noticed lots of women in the city, especially on cool summer nights, turning to cardigan sweaters as opposed to light jackets or shawls - which can tend to look dated and stuffy.  Skip the bulky, heavy sweaters and look to cotton, silk blends or even lightweight cashmeres to pull off the look.
